Anyone racing in the Chump Car/LeMONS series?

Discuss your cheap-o/crazy/wacky set ups!

We plan on racing a 1st gen at Sebring in September for our first race!

I went to one @ CMP a couple years ago. The people I went with ran a Pinto and a GTI. If I remember correctly a 1st Gen won that race. I had a lot of fun, but been able to make another one. How far along in getting car setup?

the 1st gen were using already has a full cage in it. It was an old ITS, SCCA, and EP race car. But I got it with No motor, trans, rear, front suspension, rear suspension, or subframe. and no steering eithn. lol...

Basically just a shell, racing seat, and a fuel cell. But i have a lot of spare parts that will be going onto the car real soon.

Should be a competitive car when completed.

I just decommissioned our 1st gen. We had been building a 82 GSL, but things have changed and I will no longer be able to run the team.
