Tell us about how you acquired this car? A: I bought this car from a lawyer approimately 9 years ago in bone stock form Q: Favorite stretch of road to drive your car on (location)? A: Adelaide Hills (South Australia) plenty of twists and turns Q: Whats the biggest reason you chose a rotary powered car to modify? A: I was born into a Mazda family with both of my parents having owned Mazda's since the late 70's. My old man had an S1 Rx7 when I was young and that got me hooked Q: What are the future plans on this car? A: Not too much, perhaps repaint the enging bay at some stage Q: What was the worst and best memory of this project? A: Probably the 1st time I heard my car with my 1st PP 13b motor start up for best. Worst would be losing a wheel Q: Any other hobbies besides cars? A: Carbon Fibre, Technology in general Q: Anyone you'd like to thank? A: Boostworx, Mildren Race Engineering and my mate Ralston who is a wealth of knowledge and a highly skilled individual. A: Maybe my 1968 1500 Estate once it's sorted and had front end rapinted Specifications and Mods: Exterior - Respray in 300C metallic silver in '05 NOS tail light lenses/gaskets and front parkers C/F Hood/cowel/headlight covers/rear 1/4 vent covers Engine/driveline/cooling Rx5 13B PP 48mm ports, S5T gearbox, lightened fly, H/D Extreme clutch EFi Hardware 50mm T.B's/S5 injectors/Microtech ECU/Malpassi fuel reg S3 Front stuts with coilovers 350Lb springs/KYB shocks/Noltec strut tops FD calipers on FC slotted discs modified to suit S3 diff with rebuilt LSD centre and calipers/slotted rotors Whiteline sway bars 24mm front and 21mm rear Custom lowered springs approx 90mm/KYB shocks Interior C/F doortrims/centre console/gearstick surround Custom nightglow guages Momo Race 320mm steering wheel Sparco reclinable seats on modified SA22c rails Thanks for
