Read these plugs please.

These came out of my RX-8 today. They might have around 800 miles on them (give or take 100).

One that came out of the front rotor, leading position was a little wet with a brownish liquid. It is hard to see in the pic, but it is the 3rd from the left.

Running rich. Brown liquid could be diluted oil with fuel and spent hydrocarbons.

What do you want to know? Arguments can be made that those plugs will tell you very little. There is a lot more to reading plugs than leaving them in an engine for 800 miles and pulling them out and looking at them with a naked eye, or worse yet, a picture on the web.

You guys are great. Ahem.

The car was having misfire issues, even with new plugs, coils, and wires. Also replaced the fuel pump, since it wouldn't maintain pressure when it got hot.

Put new plugs in, and it fired up quick, with no input of the throttle, or shutting off the injectors. I think the brownish liquid was coolant, unfortunately it looks like it dried up some before I could snap the picture. There was NO fuel smell at all.
