my lil project, my 91 GXL

hi everybody, well this is my 4th rx7 i owen and my long term project that im working on. this is my 91 gxl that i pickup january locally for 500 bucks. the car was running last year until the last owner blew the motor, then it was on a storage accident over the winter when the roof of the place when down on several cars including the rx7. theres some damage on the roof, hood and rear. the last owner try to fix it but gave up on it and put it for sale. i decided to get it because the car is complete and is fixable. in the past few weeks i fix a few things.

heres the pics of the car when i got it

and heres some recent pics of it

my plans for it is keep it simple. nothing fancy, no wide body or wide expensive wheels. im planning to just put a mazdatrix lip

mazdatrix please dont get mad at me about the pic

and drag 16x7 inch wheels

plus since i do alot of autox im doing coilover and swaybars and bushings. im still deciding wich and what to use yet.

the motor well i have the N/A and a FD motor

debating wich im going to rebuild and put in the car. i have a turbo II transmission that is going in the car no matter if im going N/A or turbo.

i already have my corksport exhaust that i had in my old rx7 years ago

and i fix the shifter boot because the old one was broken

i will post more on my progress. thanks and enjoy the pics

eddie
