greetings

i bought another RX7

anyway, i was "out of the game" for a while -- i got into toyota/lexus/2jz/1jz stuff, got some good experience with those, helped a few local guys with their EMS stuff -- and then i got a 93 VR fd a few weeks ago.

i've been selling some parts and making some changes to it, as the previous owner seems to have just thrown money at it without really knowing what was going on, but it's coming together. the car had a chewed up / blown GTX35R T4 1.06 on it, turblown manifold, PFC, v-mount, etc.

i was considering making a build/showoff thread, but there's not much to see at the moment, just another FD inoperable in a garage. the whole plan for the car is to make it into a HPDE/track car, and i'm trying to have it solid and ready for an event or two in June.

general details of the car:
VR paint, resprayed at some point, paint looks decent
stock wheels, R1 lip, black interior in great shape
precision 6262 .84 divided turbo (waiting for it to come in the mail, hence the inoperable in the garage comment)
turblown manifold
powerFC/datalogit/commander (for sale currently, attempting to buy a haltech from Ludwig)
fuel
yadda yadda

i've been wondering about this forum, as several of my friends are on here, and why i should post on here as opposed to the "evil forum," as i've been on there for 10+ years, and this forum doesn't seem to have much traffic. (serious thought, not trying to be a smart ass).

here are some pics:
last pic is the car in its current state.

hey, I recognize your name from the other place Not sure if you're staying or going, or hopping between the two. Either way, welcome, man!!

i was on the other site for a long time, then mark and mar3 went on a rampage and started their power trip, as well as having posts deleted which question and contradict the vendors in tech areas, which turned me off to the site.

I will still be going to the other place but I'm here for the community since any sort of joking in the other place is met with peril.

Anyway welcome back to the rotor game bro! I just returned myself =P
