A question about Wipers

I tried replacing my original switch with a "good when removed" switch. The switch that I replaced my original was worse than the orginal. It would not turn off the wipers at all (one speed).

I have replaced all three relays, and it seems to be working correctly (front, rear, intermitten, etc.). When turning the wipers off they do not return to "home". They simply stop. I am not 100% if there is any difference in speed between low and high.

Do I need a new wiper motor, or another switch?
