Made a turbo manifold for my brothers FD.
Short runners, SS pipe, CS flange. Welded with a Hobart ez Tig. First time Tig welding a manifold. Working on the first runner. Working on it. Bolted to flanges and another manifold to help with distortion. Pretty much finished, want to do a little bit more to it though. How its gonna go on the engine.

My foot pedal died within a year, and they sent me a replacement no questions asked. I would also recommend ditching the factory torch and getting a quality one immediately. Something like a CK unit. |

Calling this "fabrication" is a bit of a stretch, but if anyone is building up a rotary and is lacking the spendy tool needed to measure step wear on the plates, this little bracket thingy I made and a standard dial indicator will do the job rather well. All this is is a chunk of solid AL bar stock and an AL right angle piece bolted to it, that I bolted the dial indicator to. Pictures describe it better than words...
