Honestly, there really isn't a good way to apply those. The decals are a plastic, the heat alone from the brakes will destroy them. Here's the best way to do this...
Prep and paint the caliper whatever contrast color your want, then let that cure, then apply the decals you want and paint the caliper again with a different color and let that dry, then pull off the decals and now you would be good to go. It's like using the decal as a stencil.
