theres nothing wrong with dropping spring rates. run lower settings on the dampers then you normally would, or just drive it to find the ideal.
the only prob is raising spring rates- go to high, and they can blow the dampers prematurely.
on my flex's, tein says you can go up or down 2kg, and still be within the dampers' working range. i dont see why HA's would be any different. its just a shock with a spring on it..
and the springs themselves are generic 2.5" ID coils. just pick your length and rate.
