Provided its ACTUALLY silicone, and not that "silicone" shit that you buy in a box at Autozone - it will probably outlast your car.

My turbo oil drain is pure silicone, 5/8", and has been through 5 engines and over 35,000km's in total. I just pulled it off and its still fine......this is an OIL DRAIN, so its constantly full of 180* + oil and sits beside my 1500F exhaust manifold (although I wrapped it where its close)

Definetly no disadvangtes running it.

My vac lines are black silicone/viton mix. Bought through speedmachine back in the day (the fact that I bought them from Speedmachine should tell you how long they've been in service ) and have been on and off more times then I can count, and been driven as many miles as the oil drain.
