Condensor that grounds/bolts to clutch slave

There is square black condenser (capacitor) with a grounding lug that grounds to the engine on one of the clutch slave cylinder bolts. On mine, the wire broke off right where it goes into the condenser, so it can't be spliced/fixed.

Based on FSM schematics, I'm pretty sure this condenser is part of the oil pressure meter circuit - can anyone confirm?

If so, it's just there to shunt/ high freq. noise off of the oil sender's DC reading. Can probably live without it, but easy enough to fix by wiring in another 10 microfarad or so capacitor as a substitute for the stock part.
