There are a lot of other things you can do either. But would take 20 years or more to get your money back if MPG was the only reason for said upgrade. And some just ruin the idea of having an Rx7 anyways...

Skinny, less rolling resistance tires (lighter tires are much more important than light rims)
Air damns and better drag coefficiency
tuning it to be 15.0-17.0 afr on light throttle cruise maps (fuel injection is key here)
Gutting the F'ing shit out of it is free HP and milage. win win if you can stand it


Believe it or not, we got +4 mpg from doing the hydrogen injection. If you ask around it dosnt work and is a conspiracy. But we did it on a bridged 12a with a Holley. Went from 10mpg to 14mpg instantly. Nothing else changed. Tuning is key here.
