Reason is, I am planning to machine a set of 13b housings to 12a width. And I just want to be sure of the tolerance allowed.
No it's thickness to thin from the top to 3 different spots around the spark plug holes and just below (where it gets hottest) and 'stretches the most' especially when overheated!.

If the rotor housing is too thin in this zone it will do water seals basically. And is an A typical sign of a motor that has been BDC'd
