So it turns out that all the car needed was a good nights rest...
I went down to work on the car this afternoon and, before tearing into the engine bay, decided to give just starting it another try.
Lo and behold, she fired right up! The idle was a bit unsteady but that was because my PFC was reading 3 degrees C for both air and water, the AFRs were where they were supposed to be so I kept it running. Once the car got up to 15c it was idling a bit better, and by 30c it was smoothing out more and would idle fine without any assistance. As she warmed up to, and past, 60c she really began purring.
I'm SOOOO happy that it was simply a matter of me running low on fuel. Gotta remember that the FD
doesn't get 25mpg+ and that when I start getting to the 200 mile mark in a tank I better get more gas and/or avoid sharp turns and steep hills! lol
So I went ahead and picked up another 3 gallons of fuel while I was running an errand in the DD. I put that in (along with a generous helping of premix) for a total of 6 gallons, plus whatever was left in the tank, and I'll top it off tomorrow while I'm at work.
Vid of it being alive!!
