Waiting for sun in NH

New to the Club. I have a 1989 convertible. About the only thing not stock is that it was painted blue (originally red) and the air conditioning was removed. Also, I put a carbon fiber trunk lid on it. Oh, and now that I think of it, I put in Koni struts and shocks with Eibach springs. Better handling and more comfortable. It also raised the ride height about 3/8 of an inch. (Guess those old springs were pretty tired!)

I bought it in 2006 with 70k miles. I've put on about 30k since then and I need to do some work on it. The light switch and cruise control switch are flopping around and the interior lights and windshield wipers aren't working properly.

It rattles quite a bit, which I understand is a problem with all convertibles. I wonder if putting foam in the frame would help to quiet that up.

I want to do some work on it, but I like driving it too much to take it apart.
