Most of the electrical connectors will have a positive lock/clip feature that prevents them from vibrating loose. Feel around the connector for some sort of tab or edge that "gives" a bit when squeezed. When you find it, gently squeeze at that spot to unlatch the connector while simultaneously wiggling it off its mating connector. In most cases, you'll need tiny monkey hands to pull this off, or it may just be easier to remove whatever other stuff is in the way to get better access.
