I guess this is the famed Pulsation Damper.
In 19 years, this one has never leaked, but since getting to it is a PITA, I might as well check out a replacement now. Last price I saw was about $150 (I will call Ray for a price on all the items in this list) but if anyone knows of a better price/souce, I'd appreciate hearing.
