Hello

Hello,
My name is Mike, in the late 70's early 80's I worked for a Mazda dealer in S. Attleboro, MA. In this time period Mazda was having problems with oil seals in their rotary engines both 12a and 13b.
While at the dealership I rebuilt a lot of motors 3,4 per week.
In 1982 I went to work for Mazda Motors of America East in their new parts distribution center in Mansfield, Ma.
In 1993 after 10 years wth Mazda, they sent 4 of us to Japan to visit the factory and Mazda headquarters.
I still have some hats the workers wear on the line, the hats are different colors depending on the job that they do.
The reason I looked up this site is because I found a couple of stripe kits for the REPU, and a few tools for rebuilding the rotary, I also have some older books that I'm going to dig out.
I've had 5 REPU's its funny back when the motors were junk a lot of customers would just give you the truck or car because they didn't want to deal with them anymore.
I don't know everything about Mazda rotaries but if I can help anyone, I'll do my best but remember it's been a few years.
