Car will go into limp mode if the series five ECU does not see the ouput of the series five OMP. Series five OMP will not fit on a series four engine. Hanging the series five OMP to the engine and plugging it in would overcome that problem. But then you have to pour oil into the gas tank at each fillup. Retarded imho.
You need a series five boost sensor if using a series five ECU (turbo ECU). You would not use a non turbo ECU for obvious reasons.
You need a series five AFM to use with your series five ECU. Turbo AFM.
You need to swap the series five alt to the series four engine..........two wire elect plug won't fit b/t series.
Volt gauge should work normal. Oil pressure should work normal but the connector on the oil pressure sender is different b/t series.Fuel oil and tach should all work the same.
I assumed your going to use the series five harnesses completley and no series four harness at all. Use a series four EM harness and you've got big problems rewiring.
There's other things to be done like the exhaust etc too many to mention. Like loss of the series four twin scroll actuator etc. On and on and on grows the list.
