I have personally seen a 850rwhp 13B methanol turbo set up that ran 8'z shit its engine block on the dyno (was doweled) and it split across the plates where it was
weakened by this hype.
The said shop needed to be at the event and ported a 13B-REW to match the rooted engine! it did the whole race meeting on this factory standard engine! they expected to not last another dyno session let alone do the whole meeting, They did both and to this day they don't run extra dowels nor studs or any other garbage!
The amount of money they saved in not sending engine blocks away to be molested (for no reason other than to make the weaker) was a bonus
So how much power are you planning to make? 1000rwhp?
