We've built several of these for customers looking to ditch the CAS for something that can be more accurate and less problematic. Just did this one this week and thought we'd share. The 2-rotor application requires only one sensor and two magnets to run in full sequential injection and direct-fire ignition modes. Simple, effective, and very stable. The Hall sensor is much less likely to be effected by EMI than the standard VR sensors of the stock CAS.
