Agreed.
Unless you're got a seriously dialed in butt dyno, I doubt you could tell the difference if the left and right sides are off by a smidgen?
Most (skilled) drivers can adjust to inconsistencies in the suspension rather than insist on the suspension dialed into them.
I'd be more worried about getting a GOOD double-adjustable damper.
This usually means BIG bucks.
