I just recently bought a 1988 Rx7 Turbo II and I love it! I found this site out from rotary resurrection and well I hope I'm welcome here haha. I am also a member of the Rx7 club but I haven't found much help there and I'm hoping this forum might give me a little more to what I was looking for.
My car is currently out of order due to what we think is a vacuum leak. I've sealed up all the gaskets again, checked the fuel injectors and cleaned the throttle plates and intake manifold. I thought I may have flooded the engine but sadly that wasn't the problem. I think it may be the throttle sensor is just bad. Well because when I turn on the car it turns on and the idle goes really high and when you step on the gas to keep it alive the rpm just drops and the car dies out. It can't hold its own at all.
