no worries man, and POR-15 is king. I am sanding and POR-15, then hercu-lining the whole under carriege. I drove the 7 with summers up front and half gone all seasons out back last winter when I wrecked up my subie and she did fine. even took her out on dirt back roads (my parents live out there) and made it. just need to keep it in high gears and control the throttle and clutch in constantly on the back roads, was fine on main roads, just took me a bit to get going cause little traction. I hate driving it in the winter anyway though so I'll try not to. don't want anymore rust then I already have.
