Hello from RotaryRecycle!

Hello,

While I understand this is a CAR forum, I am a Rotary bike guy. I have taken over Rotary Recycle from my long time friend Sam Costanza. For the last 35 years he devoted his life to keeping the Rotary bikes on the road. This year, as he approached 70, he chose to retire and turn the reigns over to me.

I have been fooling with Rotaries for 25 years. I have owned many many cars (mainly first gen) but as time went on I moved to the bikes. I now specialize in the Suzuki Re5 and Hercules W-2000. I have every part for both bikes available.

One day, when I recover from the costs of moving and setting up our new 22,000 square foot facility, I will have to find another Rx.

One of your forum members works for me in my shop and he suggested I join the forum, so here I am.

I will happily answer questions about the bikes as many rotorheads often tell me... I never knew they used them in a bike.

Anyway, I look forward to being a member and we welcome visitors to the facility by appointment.

Best,

Jess Stockwell

welcome, you're the first rotary bike shop I've heard of.

Can't wait to read more on what you do and bikes you work on.

This sucks! I have just sold my two RE5's and now found a local person to work on them. Go figure......

Sorry to hear that you got rid of your bikes...

However, if you are looking to have a Hercules or Suzuki, we can fix you up. I would be happy tofind you something that will suit your needs.

Phoinex,

We may be the only shop in the world that is a full service shop dedicated to Rotary Bikes...

We have restored/serviced/acquired bikes for guys all over the world. I'd like to think we are pretty good at.

We also have arguably the largest collection of Re5 and w-2000 parts bikes in the world. We have many new and aftermarket parts that we work with suppliers around the world in an effort to keep these bikes on the road.

I am typically available nights and weekends at the shop, so feel free to call or make an appointment to come see us.

Best,

Jess

ya, me too as my 75 Blue RE5 was pretty clean and sold cheap.

Yep...

I saw it on Ebay. Looked like a very clean bike. Unfortunatly, with the economy the way it has been, sales prices on old cars and bikes have been cut significantly.

I believe the value is still there, as they ain't makin any more. However, it is difficult to justify "toys" when folks are barely able to make their bills.

The Re5 has jumped in price dramatically over the last few years as collectors have recognised the significance of the bike. But like everything else, when the economy is in the crapper... Oh well...

They will come back, as will everything else, given time.

Anyway, If you start jonesing for one that runs as if it came from the factory.. Let us know.

Best,

Jess

Hey Jess, it's good to see you guys up and running. If you come across a clean 76, keep me in mind, if you would.

Jess

I don't think my previous statement is ridiculous, Chad, given Jess' above quote. Cut me some slack, man!

Got three A models ('76) ready to go... come on down and pick one.

Jess

Best,

You make a compelling case, Jess (I'm in Georgia). If you have some pics and general info on them, shoot me a P.M.

Back on-track regarding Rotary Recycle, do you plan on updating the site with complete bikes for sale? Can you tell us more about what's available, parts-wise for the bikes? It sounds like you've got aftermarket suppliers reproducing or refurbishing nearly everything for the RE5, but I didn't know if that really was the case.

RotaryRecycle 10-13-2009 04:18 PM

Crit,

I have every part for an Re5 either used, NOS, aftermarket manufactured or refurbished. Every screw, nut, bolt, gasket, and widget.

If you have interest in a rotary engined motorcycle, I suggest that you contact me to discuss any particulars.

Best,

Jess
