I havent been around for a while, mostly do to the waste of time and money on a failed rebuild, but now that I've got a house and a garage (a small one) work is to be had! I built this little contraption, got the 1 ton hoist from harbor freight for only $40. Now the question is what to do with the 8k that I get back for buying a house? Charles I'll be there soon my friend :D.

Hell Yeah! Need any help, I'm only a few min away.

Looks good Seth. Did you put caster wheels on it? Or do you just push the car back in forth (like we did at Garfinkle's).

You've got until April to get her on the road again!!

hahah yea i just push the car back an forth, though wheels are an option as the base is a flat block of wood built around the 4x4 uprights that keeps its flat on the ground (like a upside down T). Im just glad I can finally get back to work and plus now I can tear the car apart since im in my own garage and can fix other things that I couldnt do living in an apartment. I get my refund in november so I'll have plenty of time.

Happy for ya man. Though I've never lived in an apartment, I've helped friends work on their vehicles that have and any project done had to be a day project and depending on what complex it was, the work had to be done fast to keep the bitchy land lord off your back. I can definitely agree that a garage is the way to go :icon_tup:

Congrats! Can I bring mine over? ;) I have so much garage envy right now... My wife and I were just looking at an unfinished house selling cheap with garage space for 7 cars. I so want.

Man id be jealous I got this single car garage thats so small its hard to operate the jack without hitting the wall. But it works I guess.
