Hello From Utah

hello everyone, My name is Dave.
I have an 87 TII, just rebuilt the S5 motor, had bad water seals.
It has Tein Coilovers, GReddy strut bars, upper and lower in the front and upper in the rear.
Recaro Race seats.
Razo Short shifter.
Sabelt Harnesses.

Stock ECU for now, want to go with a Power FC in the spring.
I also have a 87 TII roller I am going to be building this winter!

Some shitty body work by the P.O., I am working to undo! But he did a S5 engine swap, so that is okay!

When I saw Raleighrx7 I thought Raleigh, NC? Then I saw the car and was like man where have I seen that color scheme before? So I have to ask, did you or the car come from NC? Anyway, welcome to the site!

Raleighrx7 09-24-2009 04:33 PM

No, I lived there for a short time, but the car is from Ut.

Turbo II 09-24-2009 04:42 PM

Man there was a guy here in Raleigh I ran into a few years ago with the same exact paint job.

Yeah nice huh? LOL that is the shitty body work I was talking about! I have a roller that I am prepping for paint, Then I will take all of the goodies off of this one and put on it. It will be a basically new car, new bushings, new motor, new everything, and it will have a rhino lined undercarriage, I am pretty excited about that, living in Utah and dealing with salt all winter! YUCK!!

NoDOHC 09-25-2009 08:56 PM

You think you have salt in Utah.....

Hey, welcome aboard.
