New from New England

hey guys. My name is Rick and im a rotorholic.

Well, i have had my brilliant black '93 Touring for over six years now. I bought her bone stock from a dealership 6 hours away and have enjoyed her ever since. I have since dumped a small fortune into her and have enjoyed owning it as much as possible. I have been building it to be a mix of a street and track car, with every part picked out with a purpose. She's getting there and i am not even going to try to put a date on when she is going to be done. the fun is in the journey and not the destination, right? i have big plans for her, which i would go into detail, but I am sure it will change by the time I go to sleep this time next week, so no sense in boring you guys with it. Once i graduate from school (accounting) i should have more money to throw at her. This is what I do, this is what I love, i wouldn't have it any other way. Thanks, and I hope I can add to the community at Rotary Car Club.

I have to say thanks a lot to Phil Sohn for making such a great site. I remember when this was just an idea and how quickly it took off. When it comes to enthusiasts, it is hard to top Phil. Great work. Keep it up. You're doing great things for the community. Now if only I can make it out to DGRR. Soon. Hopefully very soon. Much appreciated.

I am going to make this random eventually, so can't say for how long yours will be listed :)

rotary-amuse 08-20-2009 10:46 AM

awesome, Kevin! thanks.

i have been wanting to go to DGRR for years. i almost randomly went this past year. Just a 'i have the money this time around, so I think i'm going to go to DGRR this year' a week before the run. It would have been a seat of the pants decision and I am glad i didn't make it. a idle and heat problem shortly surfaced so i would have possibly been stuck pretty far away. I will get everything squared away and make it down there soon. I can't wait!

ill have to edit the garage. great looking car you've got there.
