Good progress! That interior is very, very clean.

Nice find and work man. Car looks pretty damn good overall. Was there any other damage other than the fender?
|
Yes, strut was bent, ball joint was bent in half, tie rod is done. I'm positive I should swap out the subframe too. I have a door to replace the wrinkled one too . . .
|
apparently i need to hurry up, my other 7 is committing electrical suicide. >_>
|
worked on brakes a little bit tonight, made the calipers pretty, and lost to brake pad pins >_<!
http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e5...9-16-05004.jpg and i picked up most of the essentials for refinishing the car http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e5...9-16-05005.jpg |
Dr pepper is essential :). Nice build
|
You're getting to do all the fun repairs I don't yet have the money for. I need to replace a door and paint, too. Keep up the good work, this thread makes me smile.
|
Not so much fun repairs as they are essential. New tie rods and final brake hardware came in, along with a used a/c condenser and the inner part of the shifter surround. Also traded some spare parts for this use able S5 TII, going to send it out for BNR Stage 2 upgrade. you can also see the cleaned rack behind it.

I hope you'll keep it arctic silver. My '88 Artic silver was nice but NA - I think Arctic Silver T2s are awesome and pretty rare...
Nice build! |

That is a nice car .. Cant wait to see you finish. I have a 88 T2 in Mitsubishi Silver, I think I like your silver color better :)
