Just bought an 88 non turbo rx 7 elec problem
 

Hi, brand new My name is Mike, just had an 88 rx 7 restored best i could on a tight budget. Great fast, super handling little car. Forest gump said stupid is as stupid does, had a young kid, claimed experience, install a stereo/ cd player. He was totally the wrong person to do the install, brought a collored wiring diagram wrong, started cutting, soldering, guessing. he guessed wrong. Hit the brakes, the radio went to total static, happend 3 times & stopped, this was during daylight. Drove home last night nice stereo, no dash lights, no taillights. I had brake & back up lights. I checked the fuses 15 amp under ILUM was blown, I replaced, waiting for dark to try the car. I will start it, get up to temp & try the lights, stereo off, wish me luck. Any help would be appreciated. The kid is coming by tomorrow, claims to have correct diagram & a multi meter. Thanks for reading....Mike
