99 Spec on 93 rebar

Been searching on this form and the "other" forum, can't seem to find any links outlining what and where to cut to make the 99 spec bumper fit the 93 rebar. Any pics or links?

TIA

You need to enlarge the turn signal holes. You can either enlarge the holes to fit the 99' spec signals, or cut off the sides.

Near the end of page 2 on my cardomain you can see what I needed to cut to make the turn signals fit.

I do not have a link handy but over on the RX7club I posted some pics In ShineAuto section in the KS-Auto Burnout thread, its the 2nd or 3rd to last page. I have pics posted up. Or you could just search my name "eyecandy" it will come up.

I had to modify above the oil cooler ducts, but I don't think it will be needed for the 99spec bumper.

IMHO, I've installed them for customers both ways.

Save yourself alot of headaches, buy the 99 spec. It bolts on, holds everything (including the mouth of the bumper) and saves a bunch of time.

Yea you can make it fit though.....but its a big PITA.

Bigger pain to remove the front plate mount if your cover is plateless...
