carbing an fc

is there a cheap way to carb an fc? back in the day i could to tune the carb on my camaro's. i kinda miss those days(carb days that is). i can get an 85 from a guy i know, would this be a better way than converting mine to carb?

Talk to FCZach on here. He has had a very good running carb'd FC for a long time now.

If you go to DGRR you can see it and he can help guide you through it!

there's not a whole bunch to it. You will certainly have to change the fuel pump to a lower psi pump, or at least a nice regulator to get the pressure down to 5-8 psi for the fuel. I'd recommend a full intake manifold and a Weber 48 IDA (51mm if you are ported kind of heavy).

It's easier to do than converting a carbed setup to EFI.

thanks guys. i'm still waiting to see what ohio is going to do about their emissions testing. i keep hearing rummors about them bringing it back. i did like the upper intake that mazdatrix sells for a weber. it's a stock port.

Check over at www.sterlingmetalworks.com\bymc

One of the members is running a Sterling on a 6 port 13b. I'm sure he'd share the secret to getting this done. :)
