Cabin Sharing - Post if you have a room available or need a room.

I figure we could start a thread about people with extra space to rent and for those looking to find empty space somewhere.

I have a "Tree House Cabin" rented. It is 2 bedrooms. Each bedroom has a double and a twin bed. I'm willing to share the other room for half what I paid. Let me know!

How much do most of these rooms go for a night? I can't seem to find rates anywhere.

sk8world 03-13-2009 11:46 AM

I need a place to stay. Let me know. I will be there Friday night and Saturday night.

classicauto 03-13-2009 11:50 AM

sk8world, I might have space for you. One of the guys in our group probably won't have his car done.

I'll let you know in a couple days.

Just to shed some light. I called last week (Thursday) and they said they had one room and one cabin still. Seems like they have said that a few times now..LOL.. Anyway the price for 2 nights was $300. I passed... There is a motel 5.9 away that is $55 a night!

Herblenny 03-16-2009 02:52 PM

Mike, Can you please post where that is??

I also realized its bit more expensive to stay at Nantahala Village from last year.. If you are staying only friday and Saturday.. But their 1 Free night does make things better.. Which I worked hard to get..

Anyhow, next year... if I do decide to do it again ;) It will be different... Much different!!!

sk8world we have a spot in our lodge. You're welcome to join us if you like.

With the amount of people in the cabin and the cost of the lodge, it works out to $100US for both nights. Or $50/night for a room on the hill with a hottub :)

You'll get a bed though, the person who dropped out was one of the original group members, not an extra. So there will still also be floor space or possibly a couch for anyone else who needs some digs.
