This 12a housings seem to be from a 79 or 80 engine right? Mine is 81 and Im not familiar with these. I know I should plug the holes for gas recirculation, but... should I remove the sleeve? Im not sure how to port these.

It also got the half moon on the spark plugs... I will have to grind that down

Any input is welcome

Shrouded spark plug holes and lack of thermal reactor ports in the exhaust housing suggest its a later model, 83-85 IIRC.

Are you planning on porting them? Only remove the sleeve if your going for a really aggressive porting (race only).

Look in the RB catalog/tech tips.

Then dont remove them. Not for a streetport.
