My home made oil pan brace
here it goes
drilling the holes was the easiest part. Making it fit was ... complicated http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/4670/250220091648f.jpg http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/9719/250220091649m.jpg |
COOL! Now you need to do what Mazda and Garfinkle does... make a groove so it reduces flex.

I love seeing all the things you make yourself for your car - look great! The braces Ive seen have a groove running all the way around the top of the pan brace. You gonna use studs instead of bolts like most vendors use? I need to pick up a oil pan brace for my repu but 125$ is alot right now with other projects going on...

Thanks Ratboy
currency in my country is 3,57 to 1 today... so 125 plus taxes and shipping... is way too much for me. Making that one probably costed me 10 bucks and some time. Im gonna use 35mm studs |
