ROTM Rules, Schedule, and whatnot
 

Welcome to 2009! We had a great first year here at RCC and had "Ride of the Month" for May-Dec of 2008 as voted on by you, the members. We will continue this tradition in 2009 and have a new "ROTM" every month for the year. I have un-stickied the 2008 threads to avoid confusion, however they will remain indefinitely for posterity. So how this works is each month a Nomination Thread will be open for a few days (usually a little over 1 week or until we have 10 entries). The first 10 Member's cars to be nominated (with a picture and the member's forum name) will then be placed in a Voting Thread. Self-Nominations are allowed. The Voting Thread will then be left open until the end of the month, at which time a winner will be declared and a finished interview thread will be posted, then the whole process begins again. ROTM's have been featured in the RCC-D and are a likely spot to get your car noticed for feature articles.

Each month features a new theme, and this is the set schedule for 2009:

January - TBA
February - SA/FB RX-7 - rotorhead37 / 1985 RX-7 GSL-SE Turbo
March - FC RX-7 - Rotorybeat1287 / 1987 RX-7 TurboII
April - FD RX-7 - Proxy One / 1994 Chaste White Rx7 with PEP Package

June - Convertibles ONLY (FC Vert, FB Vert conversions, etc)

August - 12A SA/FB RX-7 VS. 13B SA/FB RX-7

November - "Old" RX-8 VS. 09+ RX-8
December - Race cars ONLY (Rotary-powered or RX-7 race cars including tube chassis)
