kyb agx any input?

im buyin a rear pair of kyb agx 8 way adjustable struts for the rear because my rear stock struts are complety shot, the guy at advanced auto recomended them, i still have the stock fronts but so far iv heard pretty good things about them on other cars. id like an rx7 perspective, i drive and occasinally drift my 87 na. any imput would be great

We used them on the rally FC with good success. Although, you should still replace the worn strut mounts both front and rear.

i have tein s tech springs that will be used all around, im only buyin the rear at this time and hope to buy the fronts next

i plan on changing the rear when i put the struts on, and will do the front soon hopefully as well

I've had AGX's on other cars, and will very soon have them on my FC as well.

I love them!

The adjustable AGX Shocks are awesome. Put them at 2 in front and 2 in rear and the car rides nice and smoothly, at 4 in front and 8 in rear it ride more like a buckboard wagon, but it autocrosses pretty well.

I had the agx's on the rear with stock struts on the front(universal coilovers up front too). I had them on full stiff the whole time. They're pretty good struts. I was too lazy to put them on a lower setting for daily driving, so they were quite stiff. Not bad for drifting though.

how much better do the help in driftin than stock rears? dumb question i kno but ill ask :banghead:

WE3RX7 12-22-2008 05:06 PM

dayton OH, this time of year? Everything drifts doesnt it??

Flooder 12-22-2008 06:17 PM

It makes a considerable difference. But you should worry more about chassis flex than stiffness. The stiffness helped but my car still got body roll pretty bad. Get some strut bars.

ya like faggot civics who think there cool, but its funny when i do dounts around them and they jus sit there jelous lol, i have had a hard time tryin to find rear strut bars

A little aggressive don't you think?

Flooder 12-23-2008 01:18 PM

I have a sweet CP Racing 4 point reat strut bar.

shadowboym 12-23-2008 02:34 PM

not that agressive... you don kno the type here, they hate on my fc all the time, i think its fair in my eyes, but sorry to those, ware did u get your rear strut from?

shadowboym 12-23-2008 03:05 PM

jus put my new rear agx's on, so far im pleased, i had it set on 8 and had no problem, had the factory setting of 4 and it was nothin. 1 was very smooth, but ill keep it on 8. the ride didn bother me at all. had to cut the fun early because i have no heat that im working on a the moment my widow keeps icing up
