Delrin Bushings

Does anyone know where I can find the write-up on installing the Lube Groove Delrin Bushings? I've searched the other forum but can't even find the original topic with all the pics and descriptions of the bushings. TIA.

When I had my delrin bushing installed we used a hydraulic press. It was kinda like a two man deal though some holds the bushing and the part centered, while the other person presses in the bushing.

At the shop we something similar to this:

When I install buishings I sand blast the parts first and sand out any dents and scraps so cracks will not start .I use plastic spacers to press on the new bushings ,not metal so no damage is created .I also ues a press not a vice .Lube the bushings as per the directions .

Unlike the other forum, I *think* it's ok to post a link to a competing forum IIRC.

If not, well I'm sure to be admonished for it. :)

Jimlab did a writeup when he sold 'unobtanium' bushings.

Different bushings, same process.

Given the nature of the interwebs, it's a good idea to DL the whole thread to your own computer, where you can be sure to have it when you need it.
