Hi Folks

I can't believe I haven't found this board before! My name is Chuck, I live in South Florida, although I claim Charleston SC as my home. I've loved rotaries as long as I can remember, although I'm a latecomer to ownership. I have a 2004 RX8 GT as my daily driver. It was actually my son who got me off me arse, when he convinced me to get him an RX-7 (he has an 88 convertible, until I talk him out of it).

That's my RX-8, and in the background is my 97 Miata M-Edition. I'm a Mazda guy through and through.

Wish I had a better picture of the RX-7, but that's all I have for now. I do love driving that car! It's tailor made for life in S. Florida, plus the joy of rotary power.

I really look forward to being a part of this board.

Thanks!

They're Enkei LM-1s. I originally had the chrome factory wheels, but one was seriously bent and the chrome was flaking off badly. I wanted to retain the stock appearance as much as possible, and these seemed to fit the bill. A big plus is that they are much easier to clean than the stockers, and they accepted the tire pressure sensors no problem.

I notice you are living in Irmo, that's a nice area as well. My sister lives there near Columbiana Centre Mall with her family. I'm more of a coastal guy myself, though.
