Man, that fb would really benefit from some decent swaybars. Sharp car though! Way to represent guys. :)

I'm working on it!

You're going to love it when you do get it done. Putting them on my car made the biggest improvement out of any single upgrade on my car. The difference in the feel and handling is simply incredible. I would recommend spending the extra few bucks for the Respeed bar. I started out with a Racing Beat bar on the front, and there is quite a difference between the two. Keep having fun man... :)

This year was my first year owning the car and first year autocrossing so I took things really slow. When I started it was a 100% factory stock 83 GSL and all I did was swap in a pair of FC seats, change all of the fluids, and upgrade the front pads. It was on 185/13 Toyo Spectrums! By the end of the season I had moved up to 195 Falken Rt615's on 14" meshies, a new factory Mazda clutch kit, and an upgraded driveline with sturdier u-joints (I broke the original drag racing).
Now for the winter I have a RB header and complete custom exhaust for it and am doing all of the bodywork and a paint job (it got hit last year and the driver's door is wack). I already have a new door that's sanded and primed (which I just finished last week). I'm also going to re-do some of the suspension and brakes before the season starts. I'm getting new calipers and stainless steel lines with more aggressive pads. Probably spring for new rotors and wheel bearings as well plus replace anything bad (which may turn into a whole suspension rebuild with new bushings. We'll see what money allows! |
