Looking good buddy...Your the first person I've seen go from a S5 trim to a S4. Any particular reason why? Either way more props to ya rockin' the S4 trim.

Phoenix7 10-11-2008 06:52 PM

i was wondering the same thing.

SouthSideSlider 10-11-2008 10:18 PM

i actually like the S4 stuff plus S5 stuff is worth some pretty coin. oh BTW i just scored a free set of Acura TL wheels and a set of sleeve coilovers for $40 so its on its way.

Phoenix7 10-11-2008 10:31 PM

damn, that's cheap. What year Acura?

SouthSideSlider 10-12-2008 06:05 PM

my $40 sleeve coilovers

Do you know if those coil over sleeves do anything for the car's overall handling? I hate to ask. All I've heard about those are that they're about only good for adjusting the height of the car and every adjustment messes with the alignment. :dunno:

SouthSideSlider 10-12-2008 07:15 PM

you can get different spring rates for them just like regular coilovers and with a set of nice shocks can be realy good. personnally im looking into tokico shocks. basiclly for now i will run these and eventually get real coilovers but i couldn't pass up these for the price.

I getcha whatever works for you. It hard to get what you want when the pockets are running on the shallow side lol.

yea i would love to hae better stuff but my pockets are shollow like a kiddy pool. LOL. i still want to get a helicopter jet motor and put it in my 87. that would own all.

Phoenix7 10-13-2008 03:13 PM

well, make sure you work on maintenance first and foremost. You can buy coil-overs and all these frivolous things for CHEAP but it won't help you get to work or school. Make sure the car runs perfect and you maintain it. The rest can be done slowly.

SouthSideSlider 10-13-2008 04:13 PM

yea she runns good has a coolant leak i just cant find but other then that she runs extremely well for a 194,406mile car. and yes i was watching a show with Jay leno's jet bike when i made the jet powered 87 FC comment. lol

rotorhead87 10-13-2008 05:51 PM

194,406 miles on a her....amazing

SouthSideSlider 10-13-2008 06:38 PM

yea orriginal and unrebilt with 194,406 miles. it spent about 185,XXX miles of its life as a automatic.

SouthSideSlider 10-19-2008 11:06 AM
