1988 Mazda RX-7 GTU (REnthusiaSTS)

Hello fellow ROTAR-HEADS...I found the site by downloading this RCCDigitalMagazine...and whalla' a NEW forum!!! "I said to myself...COOL!!!"

I was originally from the RX7Club.com in California under the WEST-FORUM, moved to SinCity, checked out the scene...met some cool people, tried to start another forum (but DIED). Still searching for a place of knowledge and education on the infamous WANKEL engine...

I've learned a lot from a brother-in-law in California (whom got me hooked) on the ROTARY ENGINE...after taking me to SEVEN-STOCK IV.

Wow that is a CLEAN S4!!!

Welcome!

REnthusiaSTS 09-17-2008 07:32 AM

Thanks.

Those pictures where taken LAST YEAR...

This year the GTU was passed down to my son...and yup, he's already
gotten into a bumper-to-bumper accident.:icon_tdown:

***This site's PRETTY COOL***

Whizbang 09-17-2008 07:42 AM

^^ that always is the case....

bjbubble 09-17-2008 08:44 PM

Ouch......that sucks. I'm jealous of those S4 aero pieces though! I wish I could happen across a set that nice. They would really complete my TII nicely.

:icon_tup: for a clean S4. More people should keep um the way they are and not go S5 crazy on their poor cars.

Whizbang 09-17-2008 09:07 PM

i like the S4 and S5 equally. Someone painted my rubber strips along the line (and they did a good job) but still

bjbubble 09-17-2008 09:40 PM

I'm not dissing the S5's, I like them both equally as well, but it's so nice to see a clean S4.

REnthusiaSTS 09-18-2008 02:17 AM

Thanks Guys

Yeah, my brother-in-law suggested to keep it as PURE as possible...

I'll probably put the S4 tail-lights back after I refurbish & polish the originals.

The S5's look is pretty cool, too. But equally was the total point.

As for the aero rubber pieces...I'll try and pick some up when I run into them at the junkyards out here in VEGAS, but then again CALIFORNIA is where there at. PM me for any info or parts that I might have or run into.

THANKS again for the LOVE. I've lost a 1st gen before, so I learned my lesson and appreciation for the ROTARY.

A nice clean garage with two clean 7'z. On my ex turbo 2 I cleared the rear 91 tail lights. The best mod I ever did. The inner smoked plastic I then cut and used for front signal and side marker covers. It all flowed very nice with the 10th Anniv. White.

Whizbang 09-18-2008 01:21 PM

i love the white cars with the black plastic paint matched. Not a fan on any other color really.

welcome to the forum. I don't see many S4 GTU FCs around.

REnthusiaSTS 09-19-2008 01:01 AM

THANKS again guys...:driving:

The SEVENS are so FUN to drive...especially in a caravan of other ROTARIES.

Hope to check out the scene in the mid-west N east coast someday.

As for the mod on the taillights...was it alot of work? Do you really have to tear them apart in pieces to clear?

PEACE.:seeya:
