Oil Cooler lines.
Ok, so it's deff time to replace the suckers, and I have a dillema about it.
now, the ones i want to get, are the $230 Banzai-Racing ones, here: http://banzai-racing.com/ These are sexy, with AN fittings, and very high quality, and the price includes shipping to my door! I looked at the Racing Beat ones, and they are only $10 cheaper, require you to purchase an extra adaptor, and dont include shipping. Then, there are these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mazda...mZ180247248449 They look exactly the same as the ones I currently have, and are cheaper, but I dont dig the banjo bolts and o-rings so much. Then, there is also the corksport version: http://corksport.com/store/category/...rx-Engine.html This is even cheaper than the eaby ones, and they look a bit better quality. I kinda want the baller ones, but the truth is, I'm a now 18 year old student, and the $100 price difference is noticable, especially when I need other parts as well, but I dunno. It's just that I've been taught to only purchase high quality parts so that I dont have to re-fix anything later, but the extra 100 would be nice to spend on other stuff! On an unrelated note, when you send in your injectors to be cleaned, do they give you all the orings and crap that you need to put them back in? Or do you also need to buy extra stuff like that? |
Buy corksport. It's a nice compromise and you don't really need "baller" lines. You just need to AVOID the cheap ass stuff.
contact http://injector-rehab.com/kbse/kbindex.htm or KGparts here to ask about injectors. |
Ok, yeah, that sounds like a good plan, thanks! I actually took another look at the corksport ones, and I think that while usually the AN fittings would be nice, I will go with the cs ones because they look a lot higher quality then the ebay shit which is more expensive! lol.

I use witchhunter performance and they replaced all the o-rings, filters, and pintle caps. IIRC correctly they gave me new grommets too but I don't remember for sure...

If I were to do it again I'd get teh corksport ones.
I have Racing beat AN lines and they fuckign leak, always have. They used those gay ass swivel ends....should've built my own. The Banzai ones wouldn't leak, but you don't *need* the AN stuff. |
I actually just put CS SS lines on my GSL-SE. This is the second set of the braided lines I've purchased from CS. My first set was their "old style" which I had on my FC years ago - they never gave me any trouble, but some people had issues. CS took it upon themselves to look at their design and improve upon it and thats what I now have on the GSL-SE. Its nice when a company will actually re-evaluate a design if they know improvements can be made - they weren't to "smug" to think their first design was the best.
That being said - Go w/ the CS, cheaper and very good quality. The only advantage you get w/ the AN setup is if you're using a custom cooler or a custom location for the cooler as the AN fittings swivel and allow a great amount of adjustability. If you're using a stock FMOC in the stock location, there is no need. As for the injectors, most companies will provide you the new orings, etc. You should always verify this though before you place the order and ship off the injectors. |
ok, thanks for the info guys! I'm deff going with corksport after hearing that!
