New member in Chicago area
 

Hello everyone.. found this website and decided to join (October 27, 2016)

RX-7s are becoming increasingly rare as we all know.. does anyone know of any clubs in the Chicagoland area?.. it would be nice to find others in the area to bounce ideas off of.. especially where to get service.. the Mazda dealerships are not the place to go ... that much is certain.

Define Chicago area, Not trying to be a dick I just use to live it Antioch, IL and it I was corrected when I told people I lived near Chicago.

Just my opinion. . If I'm talking to someone not familiar with the area and I live somewhat near the closest major city (Nashvegas in my case), I'll use that even though I'm almost an hour away.

I'd say you're good, you were probably just talking to over-critical a-holes

Normally, it was from people who lived in Chicago proper who would get upset. But it would save 15mins of trying to explain to people from else where in the country.

Chicago rotary clubs are all but dead. :(

At least I kept our domain. :). It may be reborn at some point but the Chicago rotary scene has changed a LOT.

I live in the western suburbs.. west of Naperville in Geneva... about a 45 minute drive from downtown Chicago.
