I am new to this forum and is interested in possibly at some time in the future of purchasing a RX 7 turbo.

I once owned a RX 8. Now I am looking for an older vintage model and would like to get as much info as possible about the RX 7 turbo.

Hey Bobby, welcome to the forum.

Were you thinking about a turbo II 2nd gen, or a 3rd gen?

I think 3rd gen. What is the difference between 1st, 2nd and 3rd gen?
Also, how different is a 2 rotor engine from a 3 or 4 rotor engine?

Hi Bobby, welcome! The biggest difference is the price. They all are such great cars. The 1G car will be the least expensive, really fun, more like an old school sports car. 2G cars are great and plentiful, (used to be at least) and a more modern car with a lot of aftermarket support. And the 3G is spectacular. It's very expenisve and one of the most beautiful and great performance cars ever built. (In my opinion).
I suggest browsing and reading different things on the forum to aquire more knowledge of the cars. Also look up some things online and read about the cars and see what you think. Hope you have fun and enjoy your entry into the rotary world.
