Turbo storage?
i have a bnr turbo that i was thinking about selling, but think i might actually hold on to for something down the road.
are there any particular measures that i need to take when putting this thing in storage? |
Ask BNR?
There's nothing you should or can do...really. If you're especially anal, you could try and plug the oil feed and drain holes after filling the CH with oil. This will eventually all leak out from either the turbine or compression section due to the design of the seals... Best thing would probably be is to wrap it in a strong plastic bag and shoot some of your favorite lubricant / anti-corrosion stuff into it - i.e. P'Blaster, Liquid Wrench, etc. -Ted |

Put in a bag with some Yamaha fogging oil.

Quicksilver Storage Seal is better :)
