Rear bearing go and someone drive it home thinking it was clutch trans issue?

Out of balance how does that happen.I had it in a rally and it was running well for a day and a Half and then bang!!

OK you detonated at 9k rpm lost the rear bearing and blew out the side of the engine. Or you where rich and or bad tune dipped the throttle it loaded it up with fuel and preignited. Tried to spin backwards came through the side.

Detonated the rear lost the bearing and drove back to staging. As in a rally I doubt you stopped.

Any answer anyone gives over the internet is going to be speculation....
