Poll: Deciding on changing front bumper

Being that I'm doing some changes/repairs on the car. I am unhappy with the fiberglass bumper as even with normal driving (with the roads in louisiana) my FEED bumper cracks more than I'd like.

I am considering going with a oem 99 spec because I want a URETHANE bumper and this is the only choice besides oem 93.

Thoughts?

The rest of the FEED kit stays btw.

I'm partial to the 99 spec for obvious reasons, but I must say that I totally loved your car the way it was. I say stay with FEED and deal with the cracking... and yea, I know easier to say that when it's someone else's money paying for fixing the cracks.

.

i (non FD owner..) have always thought the 99 spec looks better than any body kit.

A little crack never hurt anyone did it?

The rest of the car is feed.....It's a no brainer man.

with him.^^

DOes Shineautoproject make any Feed parts? That would be a compromise. Feed and urethane.

Personally , I like the FEED ;)

I say have a urethane feed bumper made. Shine should be able to handle it

zonblitz 04-15-2008 08:14 AM

I wonder if that is an option.

Herblenny 04-15-2008 08:19 AM

Nope!! Shine can't do Urethane... Even when Chuck from RE did urethane bumper, it was too thick.. it needed too much work to get it smoothed out and not worth it.

Go with 99 if you want to drive the car..
