Long time Texas car nut and rotary fan, first time rotary owner.

Hi, I'm David from Texas, and I got my first rx-7 yesterday. It's a blue/almost purple gsl-se that doesn't run. I took it as partial trade for a motorcycle I've been trying to sell. I have always been in love with the fc, but have never found the right deal but decided yesterday that its time I get a rotary of some type. I don't know for sure but the story behind my car is that it was running but idled high, a little sluggish, symptoms sounded like a vacuum leak to me, but then the guy I got it from took off the msd box and couldn't get it to fire on both cylinders...... My goal is to fix the electrical "oops" and see what I can do about the drivability after that. Anyway, ill be around for a while.

Haha, cars in general (especially turbo cars) have consumed my life a long time ago.... I've always had a thing for oddball cars, my other project is a mercury Capri rs turbo. I also currently own a 77 pinto coupe, and some more normal cars(civic si, Mazda 6 and a jetta)

What should my starting point be on trying to figure out how to fix the wiring on the rx7?
