Rotary Car Club - Finally made it onto this forum

hey guys,
im an avid forum reader and long time member over on rx7club and have also been on nopistons for a while (though don't really post much there). i stumbled across this forum a while back and it never sent me my confirmation email. i have been trying for a while to get on this forum but couldn't ever get my confirmation stuff. i find so a lot of useful info linked to these forums when google surfing but can't read anything without logging in first and couldn't ever get logged in lol.

anyhow, my name is Roy and yes i know my user name reads 13v and it's supposed to be 13b, this was done on purpose not by accident (everyone questions me on it) when i first created an account on rx7club, rx7freak13b was already taken, so i changed it to a v for victory. then kept it that way so others will know who i am on different forums.

the FC rx7 is and always has been my dream car, ever since i was a child. however back then i had no idea what a rotary was, but always fascinated by the body style. i grew up working on 22r engines with my brothers and learned about rotary engines. Christmas night 2005 my brother found me playing txr3 and saw me driving my fc rx7 on there and told me a friend of his was selling one for cheap. we got in his yota pickup and went to check it out. it was amazing (transmission was out of it, from a half finished clutch install. had been sitting like that for about 2 years. parts were missing and the original red was half covered in blue spray paint with a grey hood and sunroof panel, but it was amazing!) bought it that night and never looked back. it was an 87 gxl 2+2 without interior lol. (i think they all came that way from teh dealer with interior being optional, but anyhow).

im a big autocross fan and am building my fc for that purpose with intentions of moving up to wheel to wheel road racing in the future.

anyways, ^ thats me and my short history, sorry for the long read. just wanted to let everyone know my background. i spend more time searching the forums and gathering info than i do almost anything else, yea not much of a life anymore. my gf hates it sometimes but sooo much valuable info if you use the search function. anyhow, great to be here on this forum finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
